GUILTY
On September 20, 2001, Shaun Mikal Walker and Robert James Youngker gave a ride to Samuel McClure, a young man they knew. When they arrived at an apartment complex just off Chastain Road, McClure got out of the back seat and shot the driver, Shaun Walker. Youngker got out of the car but was shot and pistol whipped by McClure as he attempted to rob him. Youngker was able to get free from McClure and ran away. He survived multiple gun shot wounds and the beating. On July 2, 2002, the jury convicted Samuel McClure of murder and 3 counts of aggravated assault.
