AGGRAVATED ASSAULT WITH INTENT TO RAPE (2 COUNTS) - GUILTY
On June 24, 1999, Demon attacked a real estate agent while she was working alone in a model home in South Cobb. Demon lured her into an isolated part of the model home and threw her to the floor, choking her and repeatedly striking her about her head, all the while trying to tear off her clothing in order to sexually assault the victim.
The second count was for a similar event which occurred two weeks earlier. Again the real estate agent was working alone in a nearby development. The jury also heard from a longtime family friend of the defendant who he had attacked in her own home in September of 1998.
